“I have a great liking for ‘looking through’ things. This is a hole in a gate in a fence. Put your hand through to unlock the bolt. These are quite common in back lanes Sydney. I don’t open the gates. I peer through the holes with my phone camera and the gate becomes my frame. I like words in my images too so I was doubly glad to come across this newspaper headline holder with no headline on someone’s back fence”.
